real apexi n1

wassup guys was just wondering how long the outlet tip is....... the length of the tip not the diameter im trying to compare those ebay ones to the real one

The tip on mine sticks out 5 inches from the end of the canister.

I believe the new N1's have a badge on the bottom side of the canister, if you can see in my pic.

a real apexi n1 should have the silencer hole on the bottom edge of the tip, should say apexi on the tip, no weld dirrectly behind the canister liek the whole rear section should be one peice, and i dotn remember seeing a badge on the bottom.

The ebay N1 imatations made by Megan racing are very nice mufflers for the price. I have the model with the 3" inlet, compared to a real N1 the outer canister diameter is smaller, making the muffler looking much more compact, the tip is 4". Also, comparing the Megan racing N1 to the Apex'i N1 the tip lenghts (without measuring) look to be the same (a friend has a "real" N1). The sound of the muffler is great (very deep). With my setup it is pretty loud, but not too bad. The quality of the muffler is very nice, all stainless straight through core retaining the same diameter inside as the actual inlet.

the only real apexi n1 i saw was for a subaru 2.5 rs i has installed on a buddies sibaru wagon. fitment was great but no badge on the bottom.

if you say it shoudl be there ill take your word for it. maybe dsm's have it and subarus dotn i have no idea


also hop pm me with your opinion on your springs. im looking at a set of sprints and cant get feedback on em

Megan mufflers are nice but stay away from most ebay specials. I had a 'type RS' N1 style muffler from ebay and it sounded like ass.
