Ok, heres my problem. I am 1100 miles past full rebuild of my 7bolt. (check profile for mods). My car randomly will begin to sputter at idle and when i give it gas. However, if i turn the car off and turn it back on it goes away. oh yea and when it starts my CEL comes on... it usually does it when i am at a constant cruise usually between 2k and 3k rpms... it almost sounds like its missing. i cant figure out what it is for my life. any help would be appreciated

Well a couple days after I washed the engine, I felt a bit of a sputter and the car did not seem to pick up at all! It seemed like all the power was lost, then the check engine light came on, , my cousin was able to check on his OBD comp. and it was the spark plugs so i bought the spark plugs for like 8 bucks and he changed them for me and BAMM! good as new... but this is what happened to me, dont go out and think its your spark plugs as well, jus a suggestion, by the way the spark plugs he took out did not look worn at all, but mite as well replace them if the computer was rejecting them, hope you find out whats wrong...

wow sounds like you have a 6 bolt swap done.. that whats they do with the random missfire.. may want to look into replacing your cam angle sensor or something along those lines
