However I'm not sure I follow what happens at 7:00 in the second video.......

You guys go off track, pass by a buddy, get lost, decide to make your own road, check on the motor, make another road, open a gate, then get back to it. Awesome

Yes that off road into the paddock cost us 3.5 minutes and we went from 5/6th outright to 19 out of 20, so no points. The Nissan S15 had gone off earlier in the day. When the medics got the driver out they had cut the right side door off. We ran over it as I was I was looking for a gate. Some farmers here in Australia put the barbed wire around a post but don't tie it off fully. It is a quick gate to get in or out of the paddock. Pete told me about the gate so we went looking near the feed bins to find a way back onto the road. The car that went past was 2 mins behind us when he started. Only had some minor damage but I had to paint the guard and the bonnet. Glad you enjoy the vids.
