raising the car?

guy I bought the car from, definently lowered the car. stock 2g eclipses arent ever this low.

When driving, I feel like im the car whos being beaten up by all the bumps.

The more people, the more I feel the hits.

what should I do, suspension wise? All options are appreciated

First you should assess on what the issue is.

Cut springs, blown stuts/shocks, bad bushings or just a very cheap and worn out setup?

After finding out the issue then you'll know what you need to replace. I know that's not exactly what you wanted to hear but that's all that I can really offer for you.

Get a some pictures up too.

depending on how he lowerd it(cut springs,heated,coilovers) you could just get stock springs or if you wnant to keep it low but want a smoother ride get a good set of lowering springs. if he used cheap coilovers that can cause a bumpey ride my advice in that situation would be to get a good set and replace. if the coilovers are fine try adjusting them to raise the ride. the more compressed the springs are the more you will feal the bumps

check if you got bump stops also... this could cause a severe drop and a VERY uncomfortable ride...

well I took 2 pictures to the best of my ability without actually raising the car and taking the rim off.

Might just be the angle but that spring looks like its COMPRESSED. I only know of a few aftermarket springs that compress where almost all the larger diameter coils touch. Definately jack the car up and take a picture with the wheel off just to give us an idea. Get a pic of under the strut tower and see if your upper control arm is hitting the strut tower. Thats an easy way to tell if your car is way to low.

well they are not coilovers. my advice if you want a smother ride is get either a good set of lowering springs or if you want to go to stock some oem springs. and a good set of struts

It looks like the springs are aftermarket. My factory ones were black.

those look like a set of factory springs that have been heated with how they are a purplish silver color
