radio brackets

are the radio brackets on a 1g and a 2g the same??

I dont think so. By bracket do you mean the trim or the mounting for the radio itself?

A 1g stock radio is a double decker; the square type. If the 2g is like that then I may be wrong and the two are likely interchangeable minus the wiring plugs.
