headlight brackets

hey all i have a problem.... just got the Blitz front bumper put on and there is a decent size gap from the headlights to the bumper the guy told me that i needed to get the headlight brackets that go under the headlights and i guess between the headlights and bumper? i seen what they look like but uhh no one seems to have them i seen 3 non turbo eclipses and they dont have the bracket im looking for... i duno.... any ideas on what they are called or anyone have one??

is the bumper for a 95-96??? if its 97-99 the headlights are slightly smaller so the larger headlights of your 96 could be causing a fitment issue. hope this help.

yeah they gave me a 97-99 bumper and i dont have the brackets underneath to make it fit better...

so just get the headlights from a 97-99 and call it good.

Try jnztunning.com look in their Mitsu oem section for that part. I removed that bracket from my 97 gs replacing a headlight its a thin metal bracket.

Do what the other guys said just buy 97 to 99 2g headlights, it will still bolt up because bolts on from the top and in back.

That bracket is mainly for the bumper, and cause a rusty look between Headlight and bumper. I notice this when remove a headlight. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah the people who are painting my bumper said that i needed that bracket... there afraid that if i dont have it on and i drive the car the air is going to cause the bumper to pull down and may cause the bolts to break off so they will not paint it until i do this...
