Hi everyone,

I have looked around and couldn't find any definite answers about this.

I am looking into replacing my stock radiator on my Eclipse (420a). I plan on turbo charging the car in the very near future, so I was wondering what would be the best way to go? I would really like to get a Fluidyne radiator, but I was wondering if a turbo radiator would fit on my non turbo car? I would really like to get one if they will fit.

Any help is very appreciated!

A 4G63 radiator won't fit on your car without heavy modification, and there's pretty much no advantages in doing so if you're replacing OEM part for OEM part. My recommendation is getting an all metal radiator from RadiatorBarn.com. The unit is very nicely made, and won't crack of break on you like the metal/plastic OEM ones. Aluminum (Fluidyne) ones are nice, but I don't think they're absolutely necessary unless you live in a very hot climate and/or you have serious overheating problems. I live in Florida, and I have a RadiatorBarn radiator, and I've had no problems.

+1 FOR RADIATOR BARN OEM replacement.

although, if your set on a high performance all aluminum radiator then you can get the visteon one from radiator barn which is slimmer than the oem, so you will have more room for your turbo and it comes with a slim fan already attached to give you even more room for your future turbo application.

No the rad wont work but for some reason 4g63 fans plug/bolt right on:D

Sorry to be off topic but I was just happy it worked out for me

The overall size of the engine bay is the same throughout all 2g models. There isn't necessarily any more/less room designated for each type(n/t or T) of models. The dimensions are the same. Inlet/outlets however aren't.
