I had a race with the local king of the imports Sunday night. Here it is
He is a very cool guy with a crazy stable. 89 300z turbo, 91 Supra turbo, 944 turbo, 93 Supra, and his wife has a mid 11 sec show quality 3rd gen Rx7.
Anyway on to the race. First time we went out we had about 4 people from the hangout spot following us
We line up and the perfect RPM 3rd beep and my CAS pops off and I nearly get rearened by the chase car. After a lot of laughs at my expense we line up again. I wanted to go from a slower roll he was trying to go from a little faster. I was in 2nd gear around 4700 or so. I tried to give him a half a car so there would be no talk about me jumping yet I still managed to jump :letout: I pulled even with him on the 3rd beep and he went. So it was about even I got about half a fender jump. Second went by very fast he had a much better gear change then I did so he closed the gap a bit. Then I pulled nicely in 4th till the TPS fell off and ended the race. I had to coast to the gas station at the exit. I then zip corded every god damn sensor in my car.
I am also working on getting the chase car vid. Its cool because you can see my car get all out of shape when I first got on it.
I was on c16 at about 29-30lbs of boost which is about where I was at when I dynoed at 557/482. The c16 was a few months old or I would have tried for more boost at least 33lbs.
The Supras mods list really makes me feel bad. Hard top 93 T4 Gt40 with P trim .58 housing at 19lbs, stock fuel, stock mas, safc, stock long block, big IC, he was on ET streets too I think. My only consolation is that my whole project cost less that the purchase price of his car.

, or my first time to the track, when I shifted into second real hard my glove box flew open and my radar dector flew out. Made me hesitate for a second cause I was like "WTF???"

He (Supra guy) must have been shitting himself.
