Race tracks in south Georgia?

I'm a DSM'er from North Carolina but I go to school in Savannah, Georgia.

I was wondering if anyone down here has managed to find a permanent/semi-permanent autocross or race course of any kind that folks like me could take our cars to? I have found plenty of muscle car drag strips but I am not that interested in drag right now.

Any locations in Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina will do. Does anyone care for us sport compact people? Any info appreciated.

There are a couple, but a little expensive. TGP in Bama is the most popular for those of us in GA. There is one near Savannah too, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Pop over to GA DSM and ask, there are several autocrossers and road course guys who regularly go. We're also working on putting together one of our own a little later on in the year.

That's what I've heard. I haven't had a chance to get down there and check it out though.
