Quick piston question

car would be lighter due to all the money missing from your wallet.

The off the shelf pistons are well proven for this platform. reinventing the wheel isnt going to gain you anything other than expensive unproven parts.

The forging process is what gives pistons there strength not the machining.

Haha well the wallets already gonna be lighter. I just spun a rod bearing so i was considering a 4g64 budget build, and being that im a machinist, was considering the possibility. But yea, i guess it would be just as expensive to buy the right alloy blank stock as it would be to buy forged pistons. Assuming i could find said alloy
