Ok..i`ve researched about this in a couple of threads so i just need more advice about this subject. i`m running in to a little problem lately. Lately my car has been fluttering when i let off the throttle which is driving me nuts! Well, i`ve had this problem before and it was a torn diaphram in my Greddy Type RS bov which i replaced and adjusted the bov and everything was fine. Now...i`m running into the same problem, but the bov is blowing off THEN the fluttering happens, i`ve tried to adjust the screw (thinking it was too tight) and nothing happened. So i opened up the bov and i inspected the diaphram and there was a V-shaped chuck it starts at the bolt hole and works its way down...narrowing to the o-ring that seals the hat and the diaphram......now...my question is (and i dont have pics of this and im truelly sorry) could this cause my fluttering problem? and if not...what else would it be? Im truelly fustrated about this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

That's cool just wasn't sure if there was a term I didn't hear of, but if there is a chunk like that on the diaphram it is probably being stretched when it opens and closes, and is probably leaking, causing your fluttering when the valve opens.

where do you have your vacuum line running to off your bov? im sure that you have it running to the stock 2g bov vacuum port on the manifold...but where do you have your wastegate vacuum running to? if you have the wastegate vacuum teed into your bov vacuum its causing your bov to be wide open during throttle and when it shuts its going to cause a fluttering sound.

Well to give a little bit of an update on this thread (worry i completely forgot about this already LOL) I infact used some Peramtex rtv sealant to seal up where that V-shaped chunk was and it worked like a charm and all my vacuum lines were not changed at all, i still have the vacuum line running to the top nipple from the bov to the stock 2g location. But i also did the single spring mod to the bov like some of the Evo`s run and that kinda worked too, but i`m thinking about putting that spring back in, not too sure though. But thanx for all the advice!
