Ok, I seen the 1g eclipse in the above Pics, and it made me want to kit my talon. My Question how much would the average body shop charge to shave the doors and mold in the sides and rear bumper and primer everything, like the car in the pics?

Why would you do that to your talon

I admit for the kits 1G's have thats the nicest one but look at the rear wheel gap....wow....enough room for a second tire!!! Id say stay stock, lower it and put some nice rims on!

im getting just about that exact thing done... execpt im painting my car... and as a friend of the family doing me a FAVOR its going to cost me 1200. (from looking at those pics the car looks hella wavey, looks like they did a half ass job)

Wavy? I've seen smoother oatmeal. Two words: Board Sander.

LOL... my thoughts exactly. Damn that rear quarter is no where near smooth.

It looks like they smeared bondo all oover the rear quarter and tried to sand it by hand. Molding a bodykit isnt that hard, you might as well do it yourself. The thing you need to worry about most is the strength of the bond. After shaving everything, take it down a bumpy road before you paint. Seals might crack if you didnt do too good of a job, and you definatly wanna take care of that before you put your money into a hot paint job. It just takes alot of time and lots of sanding. Lots and lots of sanding.

I don't really won't to tackle a job like this, thats why i asked how much it would cost for a body shop to do it ;)

For a job like that, twenty-five bucks.

For a job you'd want on your car, it's going to depend on what the rates are in your area, how much you need done, and what quality you'll pay for.
