Question about Les Schwab! Springs H&R

Hey , so i went to Schwab and got a quote for a lowering kit, cambers (H&R) Does this include STRUTS AND SPRINGS, or just springs using the old struts. If so it's bullcrap and i'm gonna have them order struts too. Hopefully it came with the "lowering system component" it says in the QUOTE. If anyone has gotten their car lowered at Les Schwab, it would be great hearing from ya, thanks guys

Les Schwab is a ripoff IMO. So you're trying to lower your car? All you need is a set of springs. How low though? You can get some Eibach prokits and go down 1.2-1.5" or sportlines and go down like 2". Thats all you need though. With sportlines you may need a camber kit for the rear or front though, but you can lower with the prokits and not need a camber kit at all. If you are still sitting on stock struts then I recommend something like some Tokico coilovers. You'll get a decent drop and a nicer ride. Or order some tokico illuminas and some prokits and be good to go! And don't order from them, screw paying overhead! Go Ebay, and make sure the vendor's feedback is 99% or better!!!

I wouldn't say they are a ripoff... Expensive yes, but they stand behind everything they sell... Several thousand dollars worth of wheels/tires/lift kits are being run by my family and I and they have fixed every problem thats ever come up, even on competitors products. I wouldn't lower a car with them, but I think they fill a very important niche to the average consumer.

Usually Les Schwab will include camber kits and an alignment with their quote. If you have any questions about what's included you really shouldn't be asking us, you should go back to Les Schwab and ask them. You should also consider that they are a business, and like any automotive repair business they are going to charge at least $50/hr for their labor. If you want it done cheaper than that, do it yourself.

They quoted me after labor: 852 dollars for Kit caster / camber cams, Lowering System Component , 4 wheel alignment and labor all for 852 dollars. Now my question was is this lowering kit including struts? this seems like a good deal but i want new struts cause i think stock struts suck

It doesn't sound like it includes struts. You don't need the castor and camber arms either. I would buy the springs from an online retailer install them yourself, then take it to an alignment shop of your choice. It's a lot cheaper.

Go ahead and buy your struts off of Ebay. Where is the warantee? Where is the fixes if someone installing them screws up?

Yeah they are more expensive but who is to back you when you go to ebay and something happens to shipping or, something happened with someone installing the items?
Usually nothing.

Les Schwab is one of the more expensive, yet biggest and BEST Tire Center in the NW.

Of course, some people may stand against Schwab, and that happens in everey business, but that majority, love the fast, honest, service we provide.

Let alone, flat repairs, rotations, and even balancing (if you own les schwab tires) is FREE.

My answer to you.
Talk to them, ask for a little better price. They may help you out, they may not.
Either way they back their products 110% and all warantees are free.

H&Rs & AGXs are awsome. I love them.
