Pulling motor on 1g, any tips, tricks?

Alright guys, I'm going to be pulling the motor on my 1990 GST. I've never pulled a motor before so this will be a good learning experience for me. I've already dropped the transmission, pulled the turbo and manifold, and am starting to disconnect everything I see hooked up to the motor, and tagging it so I know where it goes back. I am moving pretty slowly, want to make sure I don't miss anything and want to make sure everything is tagged. Does anyone have any tips or tricks or anything I need to specifically know? Watch not to Nick the pullies while you're headed out, try to keep everything level. Watch all the plastic vacuum stuff because being 25+ years old they are brittle.

Get yourself a adjustable engine hoist. Makes installation super easy. Remove your hood and be sure to drain all fluids.

When I did it I had the car up on the jack so then I could raise the engine and lower the car with the jack too.

Load leveler. Get one.

Or drop it and crossmember out the bottom, but since you have the trans etc out already, just get a hoist and load leveler like @GST with PSI said
