i've done the searching and stuff and read a bunch of threads on underdrive crank pulleys. i'm not gonna do it to mine.

my question is this:
if i don't underdrive the cranky pulley, will getting lightened accessory pulleys do anything?
doesn't seem like it since they're driven by the crank pulley anyway.

balance shaft removal:
if i don't wanna do it myself, do you think an every day (non-dsm specialized) mechanic is capable of doing it right? i guess i could give him the instructions that come with the kit =P.

thanks

It doesnt matter which pulleys you change...because either way you put it it makes for lighter wieght for the engine to pull. But if you ever pick up a stock pully its so light that upgrading isnt worth it espeacially for the price there are many other mods thatll yeild MUCH better numbers.
