Progress and pics of 1810! (pre bath D:)

So I was finally able to get a small amount of work done on 1810.

In a nutshell she's powered by an 8 blade hx40 in a Bep .55 housing previously tuned on 93 @25 psi. When I picked picked it up the safc had been zeroed out and couldnt boost without bogging down, so I can't wait to get tuned on e85 and see what this hx40 has in store!

Over the past weekend I installed Link, an LC2 WB, and an FP 9" Filter.


Next on the list is an overhaul to the current fuel system, which only consists of a AFPR, rewired 255, and last and certainly first to get replaced....720s.


I'm sure I left alot out since I have a habit of doing that on mobile forum sites, and if you have any questions or advice I'd appreciate the input!

I'm actually putting in 1120s and switching to e85 this afternoon hopefully, I'll be sure and get some updated pictures!

And yes she was dirty! Sure enough the day after I got back home pollen scattered everywhere followed by a thunderstorm

That red ION is a pretty rare breed, at least i believe the red had the lowest production numbers.

It's actually quite fun for a DD. Want to actually do a mild build on it with a ZZP stage 3 and down the road replace the Eaton with a TVS. And I think there were around 1500 made from 04-07 in red?

Had to have the competition package with front lsd, boost gauge, and ladder tach!

And how I love the factory Recaros, makes me want a pair for the VR4.

That is funny, I actually wanted a redline way back in the day! Cool cars for sure, I ended up going the DSM route being that i wanted something awd. At this point I still have my dsm along with a DD e90 325xi. Couldn't be happier.

Are those badges on the fender factory installed?

I'm not sure which badges you're referring to, tudds.

The VR4 emblem on the front passenger side? If so, I'm not positive but it's a nice touch in my opinion....if only the drivers side had one
