I am trying to hookup the vacuum lines that goes to the stepper motor to the wastegate, well the picture is there from the profec b manual. The manual is kind of confusing to me and I know the picture is not a dsm engine, but can someone explain how the lines are hooked up. I also have nipples on the compressor housing and on the intercooler piping, what to do with those?

I have another ? about my intake pipe which has no nipples to connect the lines from charcoal canister and my catch can. I just recently installed a new turbo and now I have a canister line that is left open to the atmosphere and the other line from my catch can is plugged up?
Can you guys help me out, thanks

Install the line from the profec b to the top of the wastegate. Then you want to hook up a boost line like from the compressor housing to the bottom. That will help with control of the gate at high boost. Or you can just hook up the profec b line to the bottom and leave the top port open to the atmosphere thats the easy way.

So the "out" port (left side on stepper motor) on EBC goes to the top of waste gate and the "in" port (right side of stepper motor) goes to the side of wastegate tee'd off with the compressor housing and how about the nipple on the intercooler what to do with that?

And how about the left over canister hose and left over catch can hose? Any ideas with that?
Please help me out I want to tune this baby...:thumb:

Update: Well I have it like what I said above ^^^ except wastegate is not tee'd it is straight connected to the compressor housing and the "in" port is tee'd off with the bov lower hose. Now at low boost on EBC it reads 1 bar (boost gauge) on its lowest setting but can I go any lower then 1 bar or does it have to do something with the wastegate spring?
Can I get some help here please thanks

I actually got my problem fixed. I actually have a 38mm Tial, that might connect different than an HKS.

You shouldn't use the BOV line for your EBC. It's easy to hook up. Hook up the NC port to the top of the WG. COM port goes to pressure source. Lower chamber of the WG goes to pressure source. That way with the EBC off you will run WG spring pressure. That is if the NC port is just vented to atmosphere which if I remember correctly it is and the NC port is hooked to COM with no power going to the valve.
