I just installed some 8k hid's on my car and they look damn good already. I love watching them load up. The only dilemma I'm having right now is that it completely illuminates the headlight housing. No durrr right?

Is there anyway to mod our cars to get more of a pin point looking light? I seen an sti the other day, and really all you could see was a maybe dime sized light in headlight housing and he still got the light he needed in front of him. Looked absolutely beautiful. Any ideas?

I just got a retrofit kit from the retrofit source. Complete kit with 35W ballasts and wiring harness and had them retrofitted by lightwerkz.com. I can't wait to install them.

Seen pictures of your lights already, very nice.

The second link above is my post (that I really need to update). Projectors will give the look you want and perform much better.

I ran ebay ones in one of my eclipses and they worked great. no moisture and light level was fine. if they do fog up just bake them and add more sealant.

From my own personal experience with eBay Projectors, they aren't worth the materials they are made from. Coupled with the fact that they are a halogen projector that is poorly designed.

If you want a cheap and good performing retro, check out the Morimoto Minis from The Retrofit Source. $300 gets you everything you need to do a retrofit and have great performance.

My FX-R retro blew every single kit on the road out of the water in term of light output. So much so that my gf requested I make one for her Jeep and now I'm making another for her new Jeep.
I can't wait to get my car on the road with the TLs because those will be unreal.
