So today I spent most of the day going through my check list, working on my season budget and trying to refine my season schedule a little bit more. I was lucky enough to find someone to help me out with my season.
One of the new updates I think I will be adding to the car are some front canards. To help put some more down force onto the front of the car. I either must be way stronger then I think I am or the car just gets way too (Light) for me during some points out on the track. It also might be that I still have a heavy foot and I am just now really starting to get used to the clutch.
I would love to go into details about what I have for a racing budget this season. so lets just say its way more then I will need.
This is what I have come up with so far.
1. Replace and or Fix the front bumper.
2. New Splitter and Rods
3. Fix Right Front Fender. (Fender Flare is Cracked)
4. New Gauges (Have not decided on brand yet)
5. New Roll Bar Padding
6. New Race Harnesses
7. New Racing Seat
8. Adjust Seat Height
9. Stock up on Tires and Replacement Parts
10. New Race Car Hauler.
11. Dyno and Tune
I have also started making a parts list for 2G Race Car Build. I will take pictures and keep everyone updated. I am also working on a side project. I am boosting my 2003 GMC Sierra Denali.
As you can see from the pictures I need to replace and fix a few things on the front of the car. Reason is, I was getting some seat time in the car. Just getting used to her, It had been raining all week. And even though the track was dry there were still a few place's were water was seeping through the track. I knew this and thought it would not be a problem. Well coming out of turn two I hit one of these spots and spun the car out. Front Splitter took a dive into the sand and pulled up on the front bumper snapping the splitter rods and doing some of the damage you see in the pictures.

. Just my $0.02, AutoMeter makes a nice gauge. I use several of them and have yet to encounter any issues with them. Also, on your splitter, I had recently been looking and pricing them and stumbled across this site. Good price, but I will just provide you with the link for you to look and see what you think.
