Hey all,
Been chasing down a startup squeal from my powersteering pump. Squeals hard at startup, goes away quickly. When warm, I can startup and have little/no squealing. Had this issue intermittently for a while, but really started when I got a new belt.
I think I've nailed down the issue to the ps pulley being slightly misaligned. The bracket does not look crazy bent out of shape, but the pulley is visually angled slightly inward towards the belt (the belt is pulling the pulley and helping misalign it).
Anyone have any ps bracket mods? or had this issue before and have a good solution?
