Has anyone here ever powdercoadet or colored their FMIC core? I was trying to look for a black one so it still gives that sleeper type look since my car is black/black i didn't want a big shiney silver thing ifo it. Thanks

Powdercoating probably wouldn't be the way to go. It ends up being pretty thick and would screw up the thermal efficiency of the intercooler.

Plenty of people have anodized their intercoolers though to make them more sleeper. Quite a few people have lightly painted them as well.

I painted mine flat black, but i need some black silicone couplers, it is pretty sleeper untill you see bright blue silicone on each side of the endtanks. My piping is powdercoated black as well.

Could u possibly post some pics of the black i/c - I talked to my contact at HRC and told her to see if they could anodize the intercooler and pipes for me. I don't know how much of a sleeper i will be since i have a friggin 3" exhaust system and a thermal R&D 3" with a 4" tip OMG

You can do whatever you want to the pipes to get them black, it doesn't have to be anodized. The core is what you want anodized.
