Post Your Perfect Logs!!!!!

All i have been seeing lately is what a long with problems looks like, is there anyway you guys could by chance include a log that is set up more for a 2g... the more help the better... I would like to see the timing and all and think it would help alot of dsmers out there.

You don't really need a whole log, what you need to see is a smooth curve from the initial timing pull, up to the top end. Timing advance will accelerate more towards the top end. Exact numbers and shape of curve really depend on what you use to tune the car (some devices, such as SAFC, munge up the airflow and whack the timing if used to make much of an adjustment).

I see a drop to 5 when the boost hits (around 3k), building to 17 by 5500rpms, 21 at 6000rpms and 27 at 7000rpms.

Some people like to know O2 for some silly reason (it's absolutely useless for tuning unless you've got a wideband). Mine shows .82 at the bottom end, rising to .84 at the top end.

02 isn't completly useless. For example, I had a nice timing curve running up to about 19 and the car felt "ok" as far as power but my O2s read .97. That's obviously pretty rich so I took out 5% fuel and they read .95. Took out another 5% and it read .93. It's a good reference, but tuning based ONLY off of 02v is stupid.

As for Timing, 1LE I'm guessing you've got larger injectors and you're compensating via piggy back in order to get 27 degrees timing.

If you're on stock injectors or using DSMLink or an eprom like I am, 18 to the low 20s is average.
