I wouldnt say the difference is night and day, but there is a difference and its not a costly mod so I feel its worth the money.

Question: Can you make your own from like 1" pipe and it work as well or is there something about the simple look to them im not seeing?

becouse i was thinking just take some 1" steel pipe cut the ends at like a 45* angel and weld on two other pices at the bottom of them fix a flange and bolt it in... would that work as well as a aftermarket one?

It would work better my buddy did that and wow tey look ugly but work very very well

hmm i'll have to do that then.. and i dont see it looking THAT bad.. i mean i can hold my own at welding with a mig and if i sand it with some fine grit paper and paint it, it should like fine... to me anyway.
