Possible turbocharged Talon?

Hello all. I am looking at getting a Talon that is being sold for cheap near me and I’m doing some research on the car and I’ve run into an interesting observation. The vin tells me that the car is a FWD N/A 2.0L 4 cylinder but I noticed on the hood of the car that, in very very very faint lettering, it says turbo on the bump in the hood. Do all Talons have this lettering? It doesn’t say anywhere on the car that it’s a TSI. I have yet to look under the hood of the car so I don’t know what’s there yet.

Thats from a fake turbo badge somebody stuck on the car. Most cars with badges that say turbo are not turbo cars. When you ask the owner to point out the turbo they will most likely point to the alternator or ac pump.

All that being said, it is possible to turbo swap these. A look under the hood would be beneficial. I agree with @97egl though, I doubt someone would do all that work and then put that goofy badge on the hood.

Looks like a badge you could buy off the shelf from Autozone in the early 2000's
