Pocketlogger results help

[dsm4bk]

My car is really sluggish at full boost lately, so I finally had a friend log my car with his pocketlogger, and he sent me the results, I've done searching but can't find what I should be looking for. Can someone tell me if somethings not good? Really appreciate if a vet can help me out here.

The cars a 95 tsi awd, 14b, 2 1/4" LIC/and UIP, 1G bov, supra sidemount, ported o2, ported turbine housing, ported 2g exhaust manifold, MBC @ 15psi, stock exhaust, stock fuel system, no CEL light. My vacuum is nomal, and the plugs are very light colored, but no smoke out the back, and the boost goes from 15psi to about 11-12psi at redline. Feels very weak when its reading full boost though.

Hard to read that to be honest ..some of that stuff you could do away with. If you are confident in your ft's, just give rpm timing and front o2's and it would be alot easier to help you out.

Okay, after putting your post into excel and looking at just the relevant columns, it appears to me that you never did a WOT pull if your wanting advice on WOT. If you just wanting advice for closed loop, I can't really help you there. Log just a pull from like 60 to 105mph or 40 to 80 ie a good 2nd gear to 3rd gear pull or just a 3rd gear pull. Also, only log speed, rpm, front o2's, timing so that your sampling rate will be better (more things you log, the slower the sampling rate). Also, one tip is post the log into excel, then do a text to columns with the comma as your separator. This will make it alot easier to read.

I did WOT though, so maybe it didn't log it right, or my TPS is screwed, or maybe even the throttle cable needs to be tightened. Most I saw on that whole log was 80% TPS, should be 100% @ WOT.

I figured out a few days ago that what I thought was WOT was actually only 80-85% where the pedal seems to stop moving. If I push hard down on it though it reaches 100%. Try that.

If you have a floor mat maybe you should pull it out. I am more familiar w/ the o2's on a 1g, but 20 degrees of timing and the front o2 reading 1.0 seems like it may be a little rich, but ok.

You should not see that much timing at WOT (wide open throttle). If you are at 100% throttle you are running really dangerously. To me it looks like what others have said. It appears you are not in WOT. The o2's would also be too lean. I would look at your timing more than your o2 readings.

Again, I don't think your car is at WOT, because .26 would be really lean and you would have way too much timing. On a 1g (minus a 90) you generally want an o2 reading of around .90 on pump. They say .86 is ok but I usually notice knock on a 1g at .86.

theres a chance that the carpet was on top of that plastic black thing (on the floor where the pedal goes against, at WOT)

its a winter mat, and it isn't made for the car, so it slides around a lot, I'll have to log the car again and do it the way you guys said (only monitor the important readings) and post my results.

with the car not running and the key in the on position you can still read the TPS voltage either by tapping into the sensor wires or via datalogger. step on the pedal all the way without trying to put it through the floor and see if your reading 100%. if not see if there is anything above or below the pedal to keep you from going further and also check to make sure the TB is open all the way. it could be that the throttle cable has stretched over time and now you have to tighten the cable to get back the slack.

if neither of those things work then either adjust the TPS sensor or replace it.
