plymouth laser help

I am very new at this I have had a 1993 plymouth laser for 12 years now. This car is a non turbo I have always wanted it to be a turbo. i quit driving this car 7 years ago put it up with a new paint job. I then got caught up in life going thew the turbo diesel trucks and stuff. I have decieded to pull the laser 2.0 out with 106000 miles out and drive it again my question is can I put a turbo kit on this or would I be better off with the motor swap it that's the case I need to know your opinion on what motor to put in it year model ect.

You can turbo the n/t (assuming its 4g63), well I mean you can turbo most motors given fabrication work etc.. Bear in mind the pistons have a much higher comp ratio compared to the turbo4g's 7.8:1 (iirc) so you can't go crazy on the boost.

Can you do it fairly cheap? Yes.

Is it specifically easy? From what I've read (and I know a guy irl that did it) it's not too difficult to do if you're mechanically inclined.

Should you get another motor? Well that's a preference question. If you don't want to full with anything and know where you can get a good priced 4g63t fwd than maybe that'd be better. If you've got the time and the tools it complicates the answer.

from what have read it does have the 4G63 motor. I just was wondering will the turbo kit for a egle, eclipse work on my 1993 laser and one more question is my car 1 generation?
