ok dont know much of anything with turbod cars, i got a 90 talon tsi fwd and the bars are maxed in the air fuel ratio for runnin rich and when i get on her after its boostn if i switch gears slow or not fast she almost stalls all the time and i would also like to know what would be a good cc injector i have a high flow fuel pump dont kno if it matters so if somone could give me a couple simple ways to get it from runnin so rich that would be great thanks

im not sure what you mean by vented its a blitz bov it has a little screen LOL um the car got a stage 2 clutch and fly wheel neew 255 lph fuel pump all the fluids changed and the person that changed the plugs said ther were gaped at 70 and he took them back down to 20 ?? i think i recal those numbers being said
 
If you have no fuel managment than the 255 is pumping way to much fuel and you have a lack of management to correct that, due to the stock fuel pump and the 255 flow different fuel rates.
If there is a screen on it and not a hose that recirculates it back to the intake it means that you are venting to the atmosphere. If you are runing the stock maf in the intake tube and not running ethier stand alone management a gm maf or some other sort of air measuring tool that you are running to much fuel rich because your venting the bov. If you want more info on why then use the search tool it has been covered so many times.
The air is already messured once thru the maf when you car vents their is no way of the computer to correct itself. So you car is running rich inbetween shifts because your cars ecu is showing that all air is being recirc, when it is not and when it blows off it does not correct for the air loss and presto you go rich.

Hey for sale, listen to him and check out your BOV...You will have idling issues and ecu troubles if it is not recirculating, due to the MAF- mass air flow.
 
Are you venting your bov into the atmosphere? (as opposed to back into the intake, like our cars do from the factory) The problem with this, is that your ECU has already accounted for this excess air and adjusts fuel curves accordingly. Causing it to run rich. It may also idle like crap.


Edit- seeing as how you say you dont know much of anything about turbocharged cars, heres a little illustration i made (bare with me LOL) showing you the bov. the recirculation pipe. and how it should look. my bet is that your venting. :nono:

silver thanks for your patients but if you could tell me what exactly i should buy and maybe where and what brand and size injectors should i get, also with my car runnin so rich could this be the reason my car smokes now ...thanks man

What color is the smoke and what does it smell like? Its cool i did no mean to bash on you but anyway...

If it is black its most likely oil burning related. If its white it radiator coolant. If it smell like fuel than well thats self explanatory with the bov vented and the 255 pump but that may not 100% correct. For the fuel pump you should get a air/fuel controller or put the stocker pump in if you have it and you know what your doing with the gas tanks open. As for the bov you can ethier put a hose on it back to intake tube from the bov, or if you like the bov sound then you have a lil money get a gm maf with the translator. Or get the 2g mas and the wire harness and wire it up and plug it in. If your ecu is epromed even better if not no big deal but it would not be a bad idea to buy one if you can.

It depends on what ya wanna do with the car. So i need to know what your plans are with the car.

As for the parts use the search tool at the top of the screen to search for answers to your problems. You can also use this to get more info on your problems if any and the answers or the remedy for the problem. You can check the classifieds or check the venders for their websites to there parts catalog. What kinda turbo you have? You should what on the injectors so that you can get your supporting mods frist, and to take care of mantinance so that it is more reliable when you start moding if that what your going to do. You can also check the tech/diy to further get the idea of mant. and mods.

If you want to you can try to get into a local meet on here or if you was closer i would say bring it here and ill look at it.
 
ok well the bov has a line going to the intake mani down near the injectors does that sound rite ......and does anyone kno anytihng about what hatch back my engine will bolt into with little trouble besids the talns n eclipse n lasers n galant
