Hey guys, I have a 95 GST, and I have not had any problems with it untill now. I dont know what going on but when i start to accelerate from first gear, the car jump a lot and feel like it want to stall or just turn off. Only when i accelerate at high rpm like 3500 it is fine. What care it be. I am worry about my babe....

Battery cable or ground, spark plugs or plug wires, fuel filter, etc. Do you have a logger so you can see whats going on? Any mechanical experience?

I change the spark plugs this morning thinking that would be it be it was not. I would say out of ten i am a 6 with cars. And it only happens sometimes.

Does it idle funny? Have you run a boost leak test?

When is the last time it had a full tune up?

I recently had the same problem with my car. do you have an MBC' how much boost are you runnin. may be hitting fuel cut also check the turbo for noticable shaft play. the turbo may be binding up slighty if the shaft is bad enough

It idle at 850. And i have not check for a boost leak. Would that really affect accelerate? Well i dont know what a full tune up inculdes but today i have change plug, oil,and fuel cleaner. i am only running 10psi.

It makes a tone of difference. The amount of fuel you car injects is based on the air flow readings from the MAS. If you have a boost leak, pressurized air from the turbo leaks out of the piping or throttle body. The fuel is then injected, but since that air leaked out, the A/F mix is rich, and the car falls flat on it's face.

ok guys, I just took out my intake, and inside is very wet . Like oil maybe. And the air filter was off when I open up the hood. I am worry cause I live in gainesville and we have had a lot of storms. Could that be water or oil? The turbo also was wet the play inside was very very little. what could it be. Could i have water in my engine. i have did all i know how to. o how do u check for boost leaks

ok after letting it sit for like three hour i tried to see if the problem was going when i first started up the car it went find sec later then it came back now this didnt happen when i am backing up y
