I just fished a 6bolt swap on my 97 TSi (2g head) The problem is it won't stay running at idle. If I put my foot on the gas a little keeping it a 3000rpms it will stay running but sounds like a :tease:WRX. If I let the rpms drop it pops and sounds like its missfireing. I've tried all the simple answers (plug wires, spark plugs, injectors, compresion check) nothing changed. Now i'm thinking its the CAS. Timing is TDC, not advanced. How do I test the CAS or does anyone have any other ideas of what it could be?
Btw: its a 91 block and 91 CAS.

Thanks

I ment the CAM angle sensor. On a 6bolt in a 2g it provides both the CAM AND CRANK signals to the ECU. And yes, I wired it right.
