Is there a Pilot Bearing on an automatic transmission? Because I ran across something like one on mine. If it isn't a Pilot Bearing, then what is it called?

It sat in the middle of the crank to basically support the flywheel. Also it supported the tip of the torque converter. I can't get pictures of it right now, but if the thread continues later on tonight I can get pictures.

No, there is no "pilot" bearing but post a pic of it and one of where it came from, that would help.

Actually you are wrong, might be better for you not to post if you don't know the right answer.. There is one at the end of the crank on the auto's. They are a pita to remove sometimes.
