I just ordered a 3 slot pillerpod and I was wondering if I should remove the originL a-frame trim it fits the whole area. I was just wondering if you guys removed yours.

Depends on which guage pod you get. Meaning brand. I know Lotek's gauge pods replace the factory A-pillar whereas a pod from say, Glowshift simply screws on top of the factory A-pillar.

I have a glowshift one, and it says to just screw it on. However, it doesn't look the greatest and isn't very tight on the pillar. So I am planning on removing the stock pillar and trying it that way.

If it worked for one person I'll think I'll just try it. I mean it wouldn't be that hard to remove and install would it?
