4500-5000 would be a good range some go higher like 5500+ and others go a bit lower I think 5k is the sweet spot on most mild set ups! :hellyeah:

Every setup is different so you are going to have to play with it to find out what works the best for your car. The most important thing to remember is DO NOT DUMP THE CLUTCH. The correct way to launch an awd is to pre load the drivetrain by slipping the clutch off the line. This will also spool the turbo right off the line. Doing it this way will require less rpm and will not destroy your center differential. I usually hold the e-brake up while pre-loading and then drop the clutch the rest of the way along with the e-brake and the gas to the floor.

Couldn't of said it better don't ride it to long and definitely don't just dump it. Just do a nice gradual slip then you'll find that sweet spot of where it grabs with some boost and rpms.

^ Same with my 16g setup. Launch control set to 5250 would have me leaving the line around 10-15psi and putting down mid-1s 60 footers on street tires. At higher RPMs I'd spin, any lower and I'd bog.

It's all about finding that sweet spot for your setup. But with a smaller turbo, 5000-5500 is a good starting point.

I had friend who did not slip the clutch in his EVO. The first time the car just bogged down. The second time he destroyed the center differential. :ohdamn:

I've replaced quite a few center diff's over the years from people who did the same thing, LOL. My first awd was one of them.
