Contains a very very miniscule "spoiler":

Well, I checked this movie out last night from: MovShare - Reliable video hosting
It was alright, but I think they could've included hidden stuff in the background or in the mirrors, stuff that really wouldn't be noticable unless rewound or watched again. Like, move a book or something. The only things I saw that were like this was: the light turning on and off. It could have been alot better. Although I had the ability to turn the volume down at certain spots :D Whereas, in a movie theater you wouldn't have that option. Also, I was alone, no chick holding on to me, that would've made it better :thumb:

I would have stayed with the first ending(kills hubby and then slices her throat on camera) not the one they used...If ya look into it they was three endings if not more to this movie. They director made the endings to screen to differnets audiences and theaters..

And yes I have the DVD of the movie so if anybody needs it just PM me and we can set something up..

I liked it a lot. Acting was decent, story was good, good use of effects. I think the people that don't like it don't believe in this kind of stuff or just couldn't imagine themselves in the character's position and what they were experiencing.

Would rather watch paint dry. Bland story and the whole Blair Witch filming is not scarey in any sense..The last 11 minutes of the movie is the only good part..Other than that is just watch people talk and fight that doesn't scare my 10 yr old son..

I think the people who don't like or appreciate this movie didn't fully try to imagine what was going on as real. If you sit there and try to have a full "willing suspension of disbelief", then you can allow yourself to experience what they are experiencing in the movie. ANYONE who experiences what they did in the movie would be scared out of their minds... This stuff does happen in real life to some extent. I know.

It seems like some people don't appreciate subtleties (not specifically in this thread, but other negative reviews I've heard).

i thought the movie was awsome worth the money id say and i cant say that about to many movies it kept me on my toes the whole time and i usually dont get scared during movies but this movie i actually jumped a few times

Well that's the whole point of that movie, realism. They shot it in a house with new average 2009 people, etc. My girlfriend reacted the same way, she said it was stupid and not scary, but the whole time she was convincing herself it wasn't real. IMO it's a movie and if you miss the point of allowing it to be at least feasible, then it ruins the whole point of seeing the movie.

I keep on making the comment to my wife that I was waiting for the screaming face like on the internet. Believe it or not it would have made the movie more entertaining.

:notgood: Save your money and watch the trailers on Youtube. All the good parts are in the trailers the rest wasnt even worth watching..Just my opinion. I was really excited to see and and let down big time!

Loved it. Thought it was great. I can't even remember the last movie to scare me..I'm pretty sure I was a little kid. I thought this was going to be just another Blair Witch or use lots of loud noises & bangs to scare you like all recent horror movies. The whole thing about this movie though, was the suspense. Every time it would go to a night scene, my heart started to beat faster. The suspense/anticipation is what did it. 10 minutes after the movie ended my heart was still going. My only complaint was the people in my theater. Screaming at the stupidest parts, making dumb comments., trying to be the theater comedian..why do people have to do that.

Scary movies nowadays are horrible. HORRIBLE. I thought this was a nice breath of fresh air for the horror genre, or whatever you wanna call it.

People who are saying it's horrible & a waste of money...really?? I'd like to hear what horror movies you like then..movies that've come out within say the past 10 years only, please. At the very least, you have to admit this is one of the best horror movies that've come out within the past five years.

Ok as Im reading this Im waiting for comments to be made about Katie's ''looks''

Does anybody else think she had some nice boobs?? :sneaky:
