I have been reading up on pda's and dataloggers. I am thinking of buying a T3 but I have read many forum posts and never seen where it says for sure if it will work with all the software. Some people, even posts on this forum, are making me have second thoughts about getting that pda. .

Does it actually work with palm'n'stein, mmcd, pocketlogger, and any other programs you guys use? Are there any potential problems? I would really like to get a newer, better pda but I just need to know if I would need a m515 or m130 instead. I really don't care about the huge price difference, just if it works or not.

If it makes a difference for your answer: I only own 1G cars right now (about 7 of em), but may someday get a 2G.

Thanks

yeah, pocketlogger has conflicting info on their site:

"The Palm Tungsten (all versions) and the Zire 71 all have Palm OS 5 which is currently not supported."

but then they come out to say this:

"The Palm Tungsten C, E and W are not compatible and do not work. However, the Palm Tungsten T, T2 and T3 ARE compatible as of March of 2004."

so like the previous poster said, the T3 will work, plus it's really bad ass for everything else, too :) If they get the bluetooth setup working well, you will be able to charge and datalog at the same time :)

I just wouldn't leave a T3 mounted in the car, it's expensive looking

i have a palm Tungsten T5 with os version 5.4 and i have been unable to find out whether pocketlogger will work with it i heard that the 5.0 version it wont work with but the 5.2.1 version it will i just cant find anything about the T5 ...does anybody know? cause i really want to run the pockelogger system.
