Anyone figure out how to make or where to buy a serial charging cable for a palm pilot... I did a few google searches and struck out. I don't see why the unit can't charge while it's plugged in and logging.

The serial cable on my old logger had a power input on it. It's definitely possible. As to where you'd buy it, I have not a clue.

All the charging cables I've seen are USB... I know serial charging cables have to be out there just don't know where and I can't be the first to want one.

I haven't plugged a serial device in , in prob 4 years. I get why you cant find on LOL.

Check the classifieds, maybe a member has on for sale?

if you have fry's electronics they have everything. if i go this week ill see if they have one. im pretty sure its only a couple of bucks. ill get it and u just pay me for the actual item and shipping.

never mind your in cali. you should have a frys

I went to fry's and they have nothing...

To be clear... I have a cable and the logger works fine but it doesn't power or charge the palm in the car. If you have a source I'd really appreciate it.
