I know there are a few threads on this but none are what I am looking for. I am getting ready to paint my Engine block and am looking for color ideas. Pics would be helpful. The engine bay is red on my 92 Talon AWD. The car is red/black. I'm looking for alternative to black as Black hides leaks. I want to see leaks so they can be fixed. Also, this is for my show car/restoration project. Thanks!

Go with a bright red color. You'll see every color of leak your car can come up with that way. I have no pictures.

Go with a silver. Red is a little too flashy if you ask me. its your car though. Do what makes you happy. If you wanted to paint it hot pink, I might not like it but Ill appreciate the work if it looks like its been done right.

My little brother decided to do blue on his rx7 motor. I think like his a little better than mine.

jdodds, The hot side of your system looks ill with the bright flame proof red LOL. I'm also going to paint my trans black. No reason to show it off. I want the Tubular Manifold, and the big shiny turbo and IC Pipes poppin. The contrast just looks great.
