One of the fellow tuners on here did up their euros with black tint. I bootlegged it from InfamousEclipse's gallery. OMG

ok all i did was wipe em with alcohol, dried with paper towel, sprayed three even light coats(or until darkness you liek is acheived) let dry, and added three coats of uv protectant clear. if you use night shades it would work but check with your local laws some places dont allow blacked out tailights or headlights.

awesome.. and those black tails are nice.. hell with the laws.. im doin it.. the cops can get over it.. that or ill get over paying the ticket LOL

They look really nice now during the day, but not much different at night. Either way, they look a lot better than the chrome IMO.

Sup man, post some pics of yours :thumb:

Those are the only altezza's I have ever liked and that is only because you intillegently modified them. One way to make them look better at night is to install all hyperwhite tail light bulbs. That way you won't get that ugly yellowish-orange tint. It'll look more clean.

Also, not concerning your tails, if you want my opinion I would also install hyperwhite backup lights and remove the AEM license plate frame, unless you are intentionally advertising for AEM. Nice job on the tails though.

In time, in time. My car looks like crap right now  , the rear lip flew off on the highway...but the orange-tipped tails definately brought some color to my car :thumb:

thats cool bro, take your time and fix er back up

two more days of cruising with tha 2g,then my car gets put up for the winter..the 1g still looks like crap..but the winter is long

- this winter i have 2 dsms to work on...

question... if you tint your headlights red like the tail lights, how will it look like at night when hyper white bulbs shine through?

good idea on the hyperwhites, and the reason i have the liscense plate frame is at first i mounted the bracket wrong for the liscense plate and had to cut off the bottom of the plate, but then i fixed it and have the plate cover covering the bottom i cut off  ill be gettin new plates soon though. :thumb:

The only way to tint the headlights is to paint over the outside, which would not look good unless maybe blacked out on a black car, but not red or any color. You can paint the inner housing red. I've done that and it looks awesome, especially with the hyperwhite turn signals at night and no ugly orange.

hey.. i was goin to do something similar to that but i cant seem to find a black tint spray.. i checked the krylon website for stained glass and whatnot and they have 6 colors.. black is not one? anyone know where i could either get a black tint like in a spray can or a stained glass spray in black??
thanks

Could you get a daytime pic from a little farther away. Like maybe 15 feet. Thanks
