Been googling this subject. Trying to sell my 2g dsm which is in fantastic shape except this cel.

I had a boost gauge tapped in this spot... Removed it to put the car back to stock.. Old hoses were beat... I used new hoses from FPS to manifold and FPS to FPR. I was getting a CEL.

At this point I also took DSMLInk out and put back a stock ecu.

Therefore I dont know if the code woudlve been there anyways because of DSMlink hiding it.

First time I scanned it... It showed bad ecu or mdp sensor (I think p1400)... I gave up on it for a couple weeks then I rescanned it.. It showed p1105 instead. I kept clearing the code and it would come back at p1105 again and again after about 20 miles of driving each time.

I ordered a new FPS and just put it in. I cleared the code and now it has come back!!

I have many people interested in buying my dsm and I want to have this code cleared. Car is running well.

Do you think it is

-the stock ecu I put back is bad?
-the FPS (I guess not because code reappeared)
- the hosing im using on the FPS is too loose or wrong radius/length, isnt tight enough on the intake manifold
-something else

(All i ever had was dsmlink, boost guage, manual bc, open air filter, upper ic pipe and 1g bov) Right now car is all back to stock. I never did anything else car wise.

Please help.
my number is 412-596-1373. I am much easier to access via text/call etc.

If the code started after you changed the vac lines. Then I think you found your answer. Are you sure you hooked them up properly? Are they vac lines or cheap crap that collapses?

What do you mean by collapse?
Maybe ill just stop at an autoparts store and buy like 3ft of new vac lines that go on nice and tight naturally.

Some cheap or thin lines will collapse under boost or even vacuum. If that happens then the line won't work. It basically folds in half and shuts it self. Are you sure you have the lines on in the correct order/location.

Someone enlighten me with a diagram, I'm almost positive the lines are connected properly. Also, the FPS is definitely plugged in. I got new 5/32 vacuum lines today at Autozone and put them on. The fit snug everywhere. However it seems a little easy to slide on an off of the intake manifold. When i took the original line off it was worn and basically impossible to get off of the intake manifold. It ripped apart as I took it off.

The CEL is still on with a new FPS and new vacuum lines.

Is there a chance that the ecu i put in is the problem?

NOTE: ***I took the boost gauge out and took the EPROM dsmlink ecu at the same time before the CEL started showing up.***

Vacuum lines are good and tight. Electric connector/harness is cleaned. New FPS. I still am throwing the p1105 code?!?!?!

Put Link back in your car... Not sure why you took it out.. Its an incredibly useful tool in tuning and making your car run correctly.

Im taking out to sell the car stock.

I think the stock ecu i bought has something wrong with it because vacuum lines and new sensor are fine.

Did you figure out the issue?

I just bought a Spyder GST and it's throwing this code. Bought it because it seemed to be an easy fix. now that I've read on forums i feel slightly discouraged to replace the fps. any suggestions on what to try first? glad to have a 2g and not a 3g now boy

Car stutters as if it's getting fuel cut/boost cut. if I'm in WOT or halfway into throttle and hitting boost.
