I have checked the hoses, and radiator. I have replaced the thermostat and radiator cap. I still can't figure this out. I just got done doing the thermostat and bled the system of any air. Still overheats at idle. Now I've noticed that my fan isn't kicking on. Could this be why I'm at 230*?
I tested my fan with dsmlink and it works, but why does it not come on by itself?

You may want to verify that your engine coolant temperature sensor is functioning properly. The ECU uses this sensor to determine when to turn the radiator fan on and off. With your engine warmed-up, the fan should turn on and off frequently while it is idling.

Also, FMICs have been known to cause higher temps while the car is sitting still.

But I agree with the suggestion above, check the sensor, and if it is fine, you should check to see if the fan is broken.

Some people wire both the cooling fan and the AC fan to come on at the same time. This has been beneficial for some.

I was looking and I can't find the switch that's at the bottom of the radiator. Am I blind? Anyone have pics of this?
