So I've got my trans buttoned back up. Almost.

I have a bolt sitting here, and a bolt hole here:

, but they don't seem to want to play nicely.

I need a pic or description of the reverse idler shaft bolt. Because what I have isn't it.

Also, the manual says a air breather goes here:

But I have no idea what it's supposed to look like either. I don't see any obvious culprits on the workbench.

Looks like a missing fill plug isnt there, in the second pic, not near the gsx so im not sure on the first pic.

A reverse idler bolt looks just like all the other bolts, exept that it's a little bit pointy so you can get it started more easily. That is in fact the hole for the reverse idler bolt. Is the idler shaft lined up to the hole?

The vent thingy looks like a little black ball, about one inch in diameter.

I'll gladly give you chiclets haha. OK, so I have the right bolt, and I sure hope the idler is lined up. I don't want to have to take the whole thing apart again ><

If you didn't get that idler shaft lined up at least close you'll have to disassemble again. If you can see the hole where the bolt screws in you can put something in there to move it around but be careful of the threads. If you can't move it you'll have to disassemble.
