? on Avenger/1st gen motor swap

i have a 96 avenger and i am looking to swap the motor for the 2nd gen turbod motor. a buddy of mine suggested to swap for the first gen bc they are stronger. Will the first gen motor fit the avenger? would it be hard ? what all would be involve? is it the same as swapping a 1st gen motor into a 2nd gen body? let me know....you can pm me too....thanks

If the second gen motor will fit, the first would too, with little trimming. As I have heard many people say anything can be done with enough time and money. Before getting into this type of project make sure you have the skills and the tools required.
