Okay guys fixed one problem, two arose...gimme some help

okay, i need to run a wire through the firewall without drilling holes, through possibly the place behind the battery, can someone explain the best route on that one? also i got alot of slack in the belt on my dohc belt, this belt was replaced when i bought the car, and when i FINALLY got it started today i heard a thumping in the cover of the dohc, i pulled it of and tugged the belt a little, and found it had about 1/2 to an inch of play in it, why so? and how can i fix it?

You _must_ adjust the belt before it jumps teeth and bends all your valves. Don't let me down here and take it out for a spin, lets make it 2 for 2.

I have none other than what you might find on Vfaq.com, a manual, common sense, and know that you can pop the cam followers out if you get into trouble.

Makers are very conscious about fumes coming into the passenger compartment so they don't make it easy, you may find you will have to drill a hole. I'm sure you can find some obscure place and do a professional looking job.
