I checked my oil today after driving a bit and there are small air bubbles in it, What's up with that?

^ ya and it's bad because your crank slaps the oil. If not fixed, it will cause damage.

It puts strain on the main bearings. The thing is flailing around at sometimes 7000 rpm, ever done a belly flop? hurts, dosent it? The crank has to break the surface tension of the oil to move through it, just like your body has to break the surface tension of water to move throught it.
When hitting water at 70 mph, its has the same force as running into a concrete wall at the same speed. Water has the greatest surface tension, but oil still has some. So you can see why its bad.

thank you very much, good info. My pan got crushed a little bit so that must be the cause. I'll just have to get a new one I guess.

Hey, dont buy a new one, fix what you have first. It will save you money. Just be gental and pound it out with a balpien hammer.
BTW, was your oil above the fill line? If it wasnt, then the oil wasnt to high. (just wondering if you checked)
