oil return bolt broke, turbo destroyed?

I can't stop getting oil leaks from where the line meets the turbo, after so much bolting and unbolting the bolt broke inside the turbo I can't belive that happend. I've tried all the special screws and drill taps to fix the thread and they've all failed. I just had this turbo rebuilt to im pretty mad at myself, I can't tell if the oil return is a center peice, or the actual turbo, is there any :way for the insides to be swapped out?

should i just get another turbo? or is it possible to not run oil in a turbo for a daily driver? or are dry turbos drag only?

I'm sorry to here your trouble buddy but I bought a brand new 16g turbo and for some crazy reason the oil feed hole was an off size and I couldnt thread the proper fitting into the turbo so I took it to a local machine shop and he filled the hole with thick grease and slowly taped the hole out for me then very carefully fliped the turbo over and blow all the grease and metal shavings out with an air compressor was it risky yes very, but did it work yes 5k miles and still running. I believe if the turbo needs to be oil cooled and liquid cooled then it needs to be or it can shorten its life good luck man dont give up you'll think of somethin.

Well there's no fixing this peice from what it looks like.

Does anyone know how to remove the center peice, with the 4 threaded holes? 2 for oil, 2 for water? How would you remove it from the compressor housing?

depending on the turbo what kind is it.. some have bolts and some have clamps and others have snap rings

You can take it off and send it to the machine shop.
