Broke oil return bolt in turbo

Well i was trying to finish up my car yesterday when this happened. I was tightening the bolts that bolt the return tube to the turbo and one of the bolts broke off in the turbo. I tried ez out but to no avail. I want to drill it out and retap it but i don’t know the thread size. Also is there a SS braided oil return line kit i can buy? I had an SS return line on my turbo Integra but haven’t heard a thing about the DSM using one.

Slowboy and RRE have a SS oil supply line, but they don't make a ss return line. I called RRE a few days ago about that. They just carry a return line like the dealer part.

However, I do recall seeing a shiny steel-looking return line on ebay yesterday, maybe you can use that.

I am sorry to bring this back from the dead, but hey, every one says to search right?


I did the same thing as the OP. busted off a bolt in the bottom of the turbo.

I cant get an easy out to work on it. I am thinking that the center section is cast iron, is it even possible for a guy to do a heli-coil with just a drill? if so, what size am I looking at?
