Ok so i'm out cruising the local spots friday night and i notice everytime my car is coming to a stop the oil pressure light (i believe its that, left side of cluster resembles an oil caddy) it will either flicker, come on lighly (oppose to full on solid) or not come on at all... it's definetly intermittent and i noticed it comes on when the car is around in gear idle 800-750rpm, no sooner never above that (not park or neutral BTW its an Auto). The car runs fine i checked the oil thursday night it was a wee bit under the fill line so i topped it off used less than a quarter of a quart to top it off.... However this happened thursday as well but not until i was pulling into work nothing before that... anyways when i turned it off to go mingle with some people (45minutes or so off time) i came out started it up drove the rest of the way home (30mins) and absolutely no light at all. Can someone enlighten me; is this a shorting sensor or the pump, my pressure gauge doesn't function so that warning light is my only means of knowing that something perhaps is wrong.
PLEASE HELP:(
~Johnny
