After doing valves and timing kit i now have a drippy oil mess. There was sludge there before but now it actually drips on the driveway which itritates the pi** out of me.

Does it look like ofh to you guys? The drip on the alternator belt has me confused unless it can spray up.

I assume you cleaned the front cover off when you did the timing belt. It looks covered in oil now.

Did you change the cam, crank, and oil pump seals when you replaced the belt?
Are all the bolts in for the balance shafts?
Do you see any oil on the timing belt?

Man you are going to have a hard time finding any leak with all that muck everywhere. Go to the store and get a couple bottles of degreaser. Then head to the car wash, hose that area down with the degreaser, let it sit, then pressure wash it off. After that you may be able to see where its leaking.

I had someone do the valves and timing components in exchange for a tranny. I assume it was all done.

Easiest way to find oil leaks is to degrease the entire area with brake clean(no water) then dose the area with baby powder. Run the car and look for the leak.

FWIW, oil seals are usually not part of timing jobs so the faults really not on him
