O2 sensor shows 4.98v help please!!

I recently replaced my O2 sensor, now its showing, 4.98v on my logger, i read in some places, that the value is the maximum, for some o2 sensors. My logger doesn't throw a code though. What should i do regarding this?

On a factory style o2 sensor it should only read 0-1volt...On a wide band sensor it will range 0-5 volts. Are you not sure if you picked up the wrong sensor?

Im positive, i didn't. Im also having some other troubles, with my tps and my barometric sensor. They throw up a cels. the tps does not respond in any way. I heard that this is signs of a bad ecu, but i swapped it with another one, and same cels came on. Im not going to replace the maf, neither the tps, ive tried already 2 tps and same thing. I think the problem relies on the harness swap i did, from 90 to 91, i bought all the things needed to make it work, however, i think that the 90 ECU is way not compatible with the 91 harness (pins 6 and 14 switched). The car starts and all, but it acts weird, idle wise. Any help is appeciated.

This sounds more like a wiring problem. Was the O2 sensor a direct OEM replacement or something you had to splice in?

+1. I had a local DSMer do the same thing. He wired the 02 sensor to the heating element.
