I've been diagnosing why my car has been blowing engine fuses every time I try to crank it over, I narrowed it down to a short somewhere in the electrical system and finally found it to be the plug that the first O2 sensor plugs into. It somehow got caught in the pulley when I was changing my valve cover and messing with the wire harness that sits on top of it. So what can I do to get a new plug is the junkyard my best option considering the closest one to me is an hour away or is there somewhere I can purchase it online?

Just checked no ones parting out with a non turbo wire harness or anything of that sort. I've been thinking about the possibility of swapping my 95 harness out for a 97 and up harness since I've heard of 95-96 harnesses having problems and since they don't make the older crank/cam sensor. Is that possible?

Sounds like an awful lot of work over a shredded plug. Just hardwire or make your own plug. It's not like O2 sensors go bad so often that you'll be constantly changing the plugs on them.

It would be a lot of work but in the long run I think it would be worth it considering I've heard one of the main issues with the 95-96 wire harness is that it lets water in the crank position sensor connection which can cause the car to not start. Then I know I'm eventually going to have to change the crank sensor and that would include me soldering the new connection in, which I don't want to deal with. But beside that I need to get this connection fixed or my cars going to keep blowing engine fuses. I checked out dsmgraveyard though and I can get a new connection for 25 bucks so I think I'm going to go that route. But thanks for the help guys
