O2 Readings & Exhaust Leak

I have my wideband located after my flex section which has an exhaust leak. I was just wondering if this would effect my air/fuel readings at all? I don't think they should as the exhaust is under pressure while driving and should be leaking out, not the other way around. Just wanted to confirm.

it all depends on the size of the hole/leak.if its little,it will have little effect.if its big,its like putting the o2 sensor on the back of the muffler.

How big is considered big? It's behind the flex mesh so I can't tell how big it is. It's not extremely loud but you can hear it abit under idle & throttle & the flex section is black, approx a 6 " long by 4" circle. How does this affect the reading as most of the exhaust gases will still pass by the sensor & outside air shouldn't come in? If it does affect it will the readings be leaner or richer then they are actually?

Its just going to give u a less accuarate reading.. could through it off. if you have the money to mod.. you should deffiantly fix this before doing another one.. dont make more problems for your self.
